Pedigree

 

    Jewel was born from Zoya's 2nd litter, a beautiful red wheaten girl. Her soft expression and beautiful black mascara (as Barbara calls it)  around her eyes melted me. She had substance and a beautiful head which I was aiming for. Her movement was right on. Proving it by beating an undefeated mature bitch wolfhound 3 out of 4 shows from a little over a year old. Her powerful movement was not overlooked winning many group placements in the show ring. Her chances at the "Best in Show" were many, but her lack of maturity at a year old was apparent at this level. Her beautiful head is a masterpiece, such perfection in accordance to the standard and the expression will melt you.

    Although she was a winner, she did not care for the show ring and thus I did not push her. After proving she is a force to reckon with , I retired her from the show ring to enjoy life as a couch potato. Still to this day, people who see her say she has the most beautiful expression of any wolfhound.
